Latte with Whipped Cream Recipe
Enjoy a creamy and delicious latte with whipped cream on top, ideal for a relaxing afternoon or a quick morning pick-me-up.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- milk, 8 oz
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 1 espresso shot
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 5 minutes
- Total Time: 10 minutes
Instructions
- Set aside one shot of espresso.
- Heat 8 oz milk and 1 tbsp sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- Blend the hot milk mixture until frothy in a blender.
- Whip 1/4 cup heavy cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form.
- Pour the frothy milk mixture into a cup and top with the espresso shot.
- Top with whipped cream and serve.
